TrendssSpotting is one year old this week.
Wow. Can’t believe it’s a year now. A real good time to thank you readers for following up, for brightening ideas for me, for being my great audience.
TrendsSpotting is expanding:
Spotting internet trends is a never ending assignment. Life limitations as work, 2 children, planning of a new startup (to share with you – soon) refrained me from doing this in the pace I find necessary. I offer you the opportunity to join in as contributors. TrendsSpotting is all about following internet users habits and needs.
Main trends I follow: Social networks, Buzz words, Mobile web, Eco and global warming, Social media, Brands and marketing, China, Japan, India You are most welcome to suggest your interests and offer your insights into TrendsSpotting.
Today seems the best time to introduce Apurba Sen–first to join me on TrendsSpotting Apurba is a great trends spotter, a talented observer and analyst. As one of the most dedicated readers of TrendsSpotting, Apurba and I used to facebook a lot. Each of the messages received by Apurba was accompanied by lists of new trends I should follow (that’s what facebook is all about…).

Apurba Sen is a Product Manager at Rediff.com .His role encompasses new product launch, product development & strategy.
Apurba’s interest lies in Web Analytics, Social Media, behavioral economics, researching & writing about online trends. His research on Web 2.0 logo trends along with Bill Gardner, appeared in 2007 LogoLounge Logo Trend report.
Apurba holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the National Institute of Technology –Trichy in marketing. To relax he reads books on diversified topics.
